Mozzie Proof ("we", "us") operates mozzieproof.com. We take your privacy seriously and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you place an order we collect your name, delivery address, phone number and email address, together with the products you order. When you email us, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal on their own secure pages. We never see or store your full card number or PayPal login. We receive confirmation of payment, the amount, and the details needed to fulfil your order.
Information collected automatically
If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics (and, where we run ads, Google Ads) to collect information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and whether an order was completed. We only set these analytics and advertising cookies if you click Accept in our cookie banner. Your cart contents are stored in your own browser (local storage) and are not sent to us until you check out.
How We Use Your Information
- To process and deliver your order, and to send order confirmations and tracking details.
- To answer your questions and provide customer support, returns and refunds.
- To keep records required for accounting, tax and legal purposes.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it, and (if you consent) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who We Share It With
We share only what's needed, with:
- Payment providers (Stripe and PayPal) to take your payment.
- Our warehouse and couriers (including DHL Express) so that your order can be packed, shipped and tracked. This includes your name, delivery address and phone number.
- Technology providers such as our website host (Vercel) and Google (analytics and advertising measurement, if you accept cookies).
- Professional advisers and authorities where required by law.
Overseas Disclosure
Our regional office and warehouse are in Thailand, so your order and delivery details are disclosed to us and our staff there for fulfilment. Our payment, hosting and analytics providers may also process data in other countries, including the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure overseas recipients handle your information appropriately.
Cookies
Necessary storage (such as remembering your cart and your cookie choice) is always used. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only with your consent, which you can give or refuse in the cookie banner. You can also clear cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings.
Keeping Your Information Secure
The site is served over HTTPS and payments are handled by PCI-compliant providers. We limit access to personal information to people who need it and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Your Rights
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it (subject to legal record-keeping obligations), by emailing admin@vipcustomerservice.care. If you believe we've breached the Australian Privacy Principles, contact us first and we'll investigate; you can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
