These terms apply to your use of mozzieproof.com and to any purchase you make from Mozzie Proof ("we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Shipping & Returns Policy and Privacy Policy.

Using This Website

You may use this site for lawful personal shopping. You must not misuse it, attempt to interfere with its operation, or copy, reproduce or resell its content, images or design without our written permission. If you are under 18, please shop with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Products, Descriptions and Pricing

We try to describe and photograph our products accurately. Sizes, colours and specifications are as supplied by the manufacturer and may vary slightly. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Prices and delivery costs are shown before you pay. We may correct pricing errors, and if an error affects an order you've placed, we'll contact you to confirm or cancel with a full refund.

Placing an Order

When you check out you are making an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch your order. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if a product is unavailable, if we can't deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud), in which case any payment will be refunded in full.

Payment

You can pay by card through Stripe or by PayPal. Payment is taken when you complete checkout. Payments are processed by these providers under their own terms, and we don't see or store your full payment details.

Delivery

We deliver to Australian street addresses. Delivery times, costs and free-delivery conditions are set out in our Shipping & Returns Policy. Delivery times are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us, so please make sure your delivery details are correct.

Returns, Refunds and Consumer Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Our returns process, including our 7-day return request window, is described in the Shipping & Returns Policy.

Safe Use of Products

Our products are electrical or physical devices and must be used as directed in the instructions supplied. Keep cables tidy and devices out of reach of young children and pets, switch off and let devices rest before cleaning, and do not open, modify or immerse them unless the instructions say it's safe to do so. Our traps, zappers and nets reduce the number of insects that reach you but are not medical products and are not a substitute for repellent or health advice where mosquito-borne disease is a concern.

Intellectual Property

The text, graphics, logos and layout of this site are owned by or licensed to Mozzie Proof and are protected by copyright and other laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or products. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited, where the law allows, to resupplying the goods or paying the cost of having them resupplied. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

This site may link to third-party websites (for example our payment providers). We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
