About the Solar Outdoor Bug Zapper Lamps
Protect the lawn, the veggie patch and the verandah without running a single cable. These solar bug zapper lamps soak up sun during the day and switch themselves on at dusk. Choose purple mode to attract and zap mosquitoes and other flying insects, or white mode for a soft garden glow. Push the stake into the ground, and they're done — a set of two covers a small yard, and a set of six treats a proper garden.

How to Use It
- Position the lamps where the solar panel gets direct sun for most of the day.
- Push the stake into soft ground or a large pot, spacing lamps a few metres apart around the area you want to protect.
- Pick the light mode you want — purple to zap mosquitoes, white for garden lighting.
- Leave them to it. They switch on at dusk and off again in daylight while they recharge.
Good to know: Run time depends on how much sun the panel receives, so a run of cloudy days will shorten the glow. Place lamps a few metres away from seating so insects are drawn away from you, not towards you.

How long does the solar bug zapper run at night?
Over 8 hours when the battery is fully charged. A sunny day gives the best result; cloud will shorten the run time.
Can I use white light only, without zapping?
Yes. The dual light control lets you choose white for a soft garden light or purple for mosquito control.
Why are these only sold in sets?
