About the Compact UV Mosquito Trap Lamp
This compact mosquito trap uses a soft UV light to attract mosquitoes and other small flying insects. A fan draws them down into a clear collection tray, where they stay until you empty it. It's small enough for a bedside table, shelf or desk, and runs from any USB power source — no sprays, no coils and no refills.

At just 350 g and about 21 cm tall, it sits easily on a bedside table, shelf or desk.
Power it from anywhere
Any USB source will do — a phone charger, a power bank or a computer — and at just 2 W it costs very little to leave running in the evening.
Easy to empty
Everything it catches collects in the clear tray at the base. Take it out, tip it out and you're done.
How to Use It
- Place the trap on a bedside table or shelf, away from curtains and walls.
- Connect it to a USB power source, such as a phone charger, power bank or computer, and switch it on in the evening.
- Turn off other lights in the room — the trap works best when its glow is the brightest thing around.
- Check the tray every day or two and empty it when it starts to fill.
Good to know: UV traps are one part of keeping mozzies under control. They work best in a dark room with doors and windows kept closed, and even better alongside tipping out standing water around your home.

Is this mosquito trap safe around kids and pets?
It runs on low-voltage USB power and releases no chemicals. As with any electrical item, keep it and its cable out of reach of small children and chewing pets.
Can I leave it on overnight?
Many people switch it on at dusk and leave it running through the night. It draws only about 2 watts.
What do I power it with?
It runs on 5 V USB power (2 W), so any USB phone charger, power bank or computer port will do.
How do I empty it?
Switch it off, take out the clear collection tray at the base and tip it out. It takes less than a minute.
